Here are all the solder pionts you need to fit a NEO2 modchip. We recommend that this modification is performed only by persons with good soldering skills. Be careful not too apply much heat or too much solder when making each joint.

Splice the wire from PIN 2 and connect -v to the board and +v to the chip.1uf (Micro Fara) 63v Electrolytic Capacitor. It is recommended that a small amount of electrical .insulation tape be used to wrap around the mod chip and capacitor to avoid any unwanted electrical contact with the PS2 during installation.

The lazer might need adjusting. The pot adjustment is on the lazer unit. There are two pot adjusters one for games and one for dvd. The you need is the one on the left.

The best way to adjust your lazer is with a ohm meter.Adjust the pot to 600ohms.
